• Mr. Pandula Endagama-chairman of the Arts Council of Sri Lanka announced the Ministry has approved to establish a Panel on Puppetry under the Arts Council of Sri Lanka to empower the puppeteers in Sri Lanka
• First Day Envelop and a Stamp were issued to commemorate the World Puppetry Day on March 21, 2010 at the Puppet Art Museum by the Ministry of Postal and Telecommunication under the patronage of Mr. Vimal Rubasinghe- secretary to the Ministry of National Heritage and Cultural Affairs and Mr. E A Abeyratne –Director Cultural Affairs
• Puppetry Museum at Dehiwala opens daily from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. |
